John is the quiet kind of man. He sees things, he watches people. He won't speak a word if he isn't sure that he means it, so most of the time he is quiet. After a drink or two the dirty jokes start pouring. Although his family was rich John learned to be a kind and generous soul. He will not boast about his kindness, rather he likes to give quietly, so that others do not see or hear of what he has done for someone. He doesn't enjoy praise of any sort, merely a simply "thanks" will do.
John was born to Aleida and Timothy Bohannon, a young and reckless rich couple on a chilly fall day in 1910. John was a sweet baby who giggled constatntly and always wanted to play. As a young child he was silly, like the other children, and always wanted to make his mother laugh-and he did. Aleida, who had been a popular night club singer gave up her career and became a stay at home mom after she gave birth, loved her child with all her heart. While Timothy was traveling the world making deals for his company and running the business Aleida and John were tucked away in a large countryside home. Timothy wouldn't leave his wife and child to live in a dangerous city so he had a massive manor built in the empty countryside for them. Growing up with his mother imprinted on him deeply. In his adult life John began to see the hardness of the world around him. The wars perplexed him and sadened him to have to watch his community fall apart. With the city in despair he found that it was no longer necessary to run his mother's department store and instead repurposed the building to do something better for the community. The top floor he decided to make into apartments that he would rent out at a low cost for others who couldn't afford housing during the wartimes. The death of his parents in January of 1941 had put him in a depressed state. With no siblings he was lonely, all he had were his tenants and his carpentry to keep his mind busy.
