gotta eat and sleep to live.
rose river apartments.
rose river runs along the west side of the city and curves around to the south
side, creating a large C. just on the edge of the city lies the largest apartment
complex within the city-rose river apartments. the apartment complex has five
floors, a-e, each floor with ten apartments. they're inexpensive for being within
the city, but that doesn't go without reason. poor security makes for quite the nervous
tenants, but most everyone who resides here is quite kind and caring. the rose bushes
behind the building are a nice touch.

the lademont.
the lademont is a new-er apartment building right in the middle of the city!
with a great location across the street from saint mary's the lademont is
practically right next door to anything you could need! the market is right
around the corner, john's hall is only a block away, the weaponry, bakery,
and butcher are all on your front door step! prime realestate doesn't come
cheap though, be ready to cough up some dough.

john bohannon's hall
john bohannon is one the cities wealthiest men. his mothe rmarried rich
decades ago to an oil tycoon, "new money" as they say. when his mother
passed he inherited the department store that she owned in the city(one of
many, his siblings were currently running the others across the country).
with little passion for fashion john decided to repurpose the department store.
it's now his own personal venture! the third floor was renovated into apartments
varying in luxury, most are small and simple, but nice. the second floor was dedicated
to being a multi-purpose floor. it has six rooms in all: a small library, a large kitchen,
a den with a fireplace fit for a king, an unused ballroom, a small dining hall, and
john's personal apartment. the first floor is what most would refer to as the actual
"hall." the first floor was turned into a large cafeteria style dining room with two
long wooden tables and long wooden benches to match. the tables are large enough
to seat thirty a piece, sixty total. three large fireplaces puncture the smooth wood-
paneled walls(john redecorated too, you'd never know it had been a department
store, it looks more like a massive wooden cabin in the center of town now). there's
also a large kitchen on the first floor, this is one of john's favorite places. here is where
he turns the leftover breads, quiches, pies, cakes, and meats that the delunds give
him into meals for the many. the war struck the city hard. john and his tenants
prepare dinner every evening for those who cannot afford it before they feed
themselves. if you make a good case and work hard you might be able to snatch up
one of those top floor apartments for yourself.

merry lane.
these small plots are just across rose river. what a short distance from anything
you could ever need! small homes with gracious plots that flourish next to the river
are the prize of anyone who lives here. the ground is rich and easy to cultivate
with the rose river flowing strongly through their back yards! most who live here
keep gardens large enough to fully sustain their families. others who do not have
any children keep gardens and take their produce to the market to make a rich profit
off of those who live within the city. beautiful yet quaint little homes. get one while
you can!

the lush.
the lush lies just beyond the small family farm plots on merry lane. and it is just that-
lush. anything put into the ground here flourishes. the rose river flowing near by provides
all of the nourishment needed to sustain large farms. those who live here have very few
reasons to wander very far. the city is a bit of a walk, that which is pleasant, for anything
they could possibly need that their farms do not provide. most neighbors trade their goods
as one person cannot simply be good at everything, that's just absurd! just on the edge of the
meadows and the wilderness the lush is a secure home for anyone resenting any and all
reminders of the war.
